The PSHME programme requires that schools' develop the qualities and attributes pupils need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society'.
Through PSHME we promote children's understanding of themselves on a physical and emotional level. All children learn how to stay healthy and keep safe. Children are also taught to respect the differences between people. Much of this is also influenced and developed through day to day teaching and our overall ethos including collective worship.
There is also a programme, delivered in accordance with advice for Catholic Schools, on relationships and sex education. Much of the programme is taught through the science and PSHME curriculum.
